Events

During the course of the year we hold several events. Some are for fund-raising and some are purely for pleasure - for both members and dogs. Events include;-

The May Fayre

A monthly walk in Friston Forest - last Saturday in the month at 9.30am

Cups Competition Night - each class has it’s own competition - just for fun really

AGM - also includes Presentation Night - awards for each class on their achievements throughout the year. We sometimes have a guest speaker followed by a buffet.

Summer BBQ - in Friston Forest

‘The Sausage Sizzle’ - lots of funs and games with your dog outside at Christmas!

Members Christmas Party

Linked to our AGM - an opportunity to award trophies to some of hard working members with their achievements throughout the year. Also a chance to get together and chat without our K9 friends.

A monthly event - last Saturday of the month @ 9.30 prompt meeting in Friston Forest

Throughout the summer months we are invited to ‘perform’ for various organisations in the area. The number we attend increases every year!! Open to all members to join us.

An annual event, usually in August. We start by taking the dogs for a walk, then meeting up for a BBQ and games.

A new annual event which is proving very popular

A group trip is organised to visit Earls Court to see many different types of dog at this annual show arranged by the Kennel Club

Sadly discontinued since we moved to the Scout Hut as we can no longer accommodate all the dogs in the hall and it wouldn’t be possible to stagger parties over several evenings or weeks - now replaced by the ‘Sausage Sizzle’
