Dog Training Club

Founded 1960

Diane

Hi,

My name is Diane and I have been the Hon Secretary of Seaford & District Dog Training Club since 2002.

My husband and I joined the club in 1994 when we had our first Labrador Ben. Ben continued at the club for the ten years of his life and enjoyed every single event.

In 2003 we got Jasper, our black lab and I decided to train him. Having got him through every grade he and my husband now enjoy the final class where they are still learning things.

In 2007 I thought that I should try my hand at training and took over the Silver class on the retirement of the trainer. From there I moved onto Gold which I still take on a Tuesday and also I teach the last class on a Monday, the class for dogs who have passed their Gold. This class is available for graduate dogs for the rest of their lives, should the owners so choose.
