Hi,
My name is Diane and I have been the Hon Secretary of Seaford & District Dog Training Club for the past 7 years.
My husband and I joined the club in 1994 when we had our first Labrador, Ben. Ben continued at the club for the ten years of his life and enjoyed every single event.
In 2003 we got Jasper, our black lab and I decided to train him. Having got him through every grade he and I now enjoy the final class where we are still learning things.
When the Silver class trainer resigned I thought I should take over and try my hand at training and found that I and the class seemed to enjoy the experience. Now after two years teaching the Silver class I have progressed to the Gold class. This class, like the Silver, does not have a set timetable but that does not mean they can relax. The continual influx of successful dogs from the lower classes means the pressure is on for the dogs to pass their test and move to the next level. However, it is not all work, much fun is had by all.
