Due to the huge demand, we are currently running three Bronze courses. This is often due to the fact that we tend to put any Rescue dogs into this class for an initial assessment and if applicable we can move them on or give them more time as required.
The 4.30 class is taken by Diane with Alison taking the 6.20 and the 7pm. classes.
Again, with this level, adapting to new surroundings, new dogs and people is an important part of the course. If progressed from the Puppy Foundation Course, similar work is done but a little more is expected in this class - again to be gained by lots of praise and rewards.
At the end of the 13 week course, a short test is required to obtain a pass certificate. The tests are, although official, generally nothing to worry about - if you’ve been attending regularly! We have official testers visit - often Val Chandler who trained at the Club with her dogs several years ago and has now gone on to compete to a very high standard with them or a Police Dog Handler.
